A passionate foodie, home baker, and cook, I also love experimenting with new recipes and cuisines. A leap of faith took me from corporate career headlong into the pastel hued world of sugar and spice, fondant and caramel, with a cake decorating course at Le Cordon Bleu, London, followed by the launch of my custom cake business three years ago. Travel, reading, interacting with people, and music are some of my non-food passions.

Why You:
Experimenting with different cuisines of the world is a passion for me. I also believe food is one of the ways to learn about a new culture. I enjoy cooking, curating, and fine tuning recipes to suit individual palates. This time I bring to you egg-less fusion desserts. That apart, I am also a professional baker, striving to create healthy and wholesome products using the choicest of ingredients.

1)      Brookies

A crossover between a brownie and a cookie, served with some sumptuous ice-cream. The idea of a brookie, I am sure will make you uncomfortable. But you just have to pop one in your mouth. Then watch the magic take over!

 Cashew & Rose

A great combination of cashew nuts and rose; served hot with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel. The kick of sweet, salty and everything good will keep making you go for more!

 Tiramisu

The coffee-flavoured dessert reworked into a brookie; served with chocolate or coffee ice cream. Wait for the velvetness of the chocolate to take over!

 2)      Cupcakes

Moist cupcakes in unusual flavours topped with a lightened-up frosting. These unconventional flavour combinations will blow your socks off!

 Kesar Badam with Shrikand

An Indianised version of a saffron infused cupcake. Who thought a Gujrati dessert can go so well as a cupcake? I did and I am sure you will appreciate my thought after trying this one!

 

Matcha Green Tea Cupcakes with Ganache

Matcha Tea has an unusual flavour by itself which then mixed with white chocolate gives one heavenly cupcake flavour. Just unusual, but still the best! 

Snickers Cupcakes

Savour the taste of Snickers chocolate in an eggless cupcake. Who doesn’t like Snickers? I do! Combine it in a cupcake and voila, you have a winner of a dessert!

This unique combination will surely turn a few heads! The quintessential north indian laddoo, the start of all festival in a white chocolate mousse?  You have got to try this one!

Gajar Halwa Trifle with Coconut Cream

 Forget the normal gajar halwa and try this one: layers of carrot halwa, pistachios, and coconut whipped cream, can sum it up in just two words—healthy and mouth-watering. This in my edition of a colonial hangover!
