Let that be a surprise for the evening. Hint : it has coconut!
Lychee and Ginger Lemonade - A refreshing cocktail flavoured with the zing of Ginger. I remember everyone drinking these out of small pouches and a straw on the streets in Bangkok. It didn't look that great but when I had one, I was hooked! Pretty simple to prepare here as well.
Raw Mango Salad with Prawns
A staple of any thai meal. The much in season Raw Mango shaved into strings, tossed with a sweet and spicy dressing and uplifted by some prawns. A refreshing dish for sure! You always consider salads as a table meal, but all these conceptions were gone when we saw this light salad being sold on the streets on little paper plates! A perfect snack for this Thai snack bar from the trip!.
Thai basil chicken
Chicken cooked with basil leaves, a trademark of thai cuisine. A fresh flavour to the mundane chicken. You will love this one! This one dish was available where ever we went. I really loved snacking on a cone of this when exploring Bangkok on foot!.
Thai Pork Balls
This off beat thai street food snack presented to you here in Bangalore! Mildly flavoured pork mince made into balls and served on sticks with a lovely sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The best street snack that I picked up from the street. The recipe was given to me by a sweet old lady selling out of a 1 foot stall!.
Sticky Ginger Soy Drumsticks
Chicken drumsticks glazed and shining with a unique combination of ginger, salt, honey and soy sauce! Get in your fingers, this is going to be a sticky ride!.
Coconut Tapioca Pudding with Spiced Mangos
This refreshing light dessert to end the evening is made with coconut milk and tapioca pearls and taken a notch up with some spiced fresh mangoes.
