Why You:
I have always been in the field of wellness, with specific regard to mental health. Apart from that, I am an artist. I sing, paint, act and was a dancer. I had a stroke in 2013 and had lost the use of my right side. I lost my speech, and pretty much everything else. There was immense brain fog and balance issues and apart from my family, I could hardly recognize anyone else. I was heavily medicated with steroids, sleeping pills and other nerve enhancing drugs. To cut a long story short, I determined to get well and knew that food had a major role to play in my improvement. I began researching about food through books and what was there on the supermarket shelves. It was along the course of my search that I discovered the enormous benefits of the Ketogenic way of eating. It has helped and continues to help me on my road to wellness so much so that if you look at me today, you cannot tell that I had suffered an attack of that kind. The Keto way of eating makes so much sense and is a scientifically proven diet which has benefited many people through various illnesses. My recovery has inspired me to create and invent an entire range of keto food and spread the wellness message. My partner and I do this together and the whole experience is enhanced by the fact that we love meeting new people and sharing stories, art and conversations.

The Ketogenic diet is a high-fat, moderate protein, low carbohydrate food plan. Although the keto diet, as it’s commonly called, has gained popularity only recently, it is actually the oldest form of eating which has been in existence since the dawn of mankind. It is far from the weight-loss fad diet that it is being currently viewed or ‘sold’ as. It is a wellness lifestyle with the added benefit of weight loss. The Tasting Sessions was created to bring about awareness to what ketogenic way of eating means. There are a lot of fears and myths surrounding the keto diet and the Tasting Sessions aim to dispel them. Since the diet is viewed as expensive and limited in its variety, we want to show that everyday food can be made keto-style while being pocket-friendly, healthy and tasty.

An ancient recipe of tea fermented for 16 days to create the healthiest tangy probiotic drink. Completely home-brewed. Once you take the first sip, you will never want to stop! We will keep the flavour as surprise!.

Fruit-infused Soda

There is certainly a healthier way to have fruit. We promise you that our fruit-infused soda will give you the perfect flavour without the sugar. We will keep the flavour of this drink as a surprise too!.

 

Apetizers

Medu Vadai

This South-Indian delicacy needs no introduction. It is originally made with lentils. We have reinvented a keto version made with primarily with coconut flour. Taste it and you won’t know the difference between the two.

Masala Vadai

Again, a South-Indian favourite made with lentils. Our version is made with peanut flour, broccoli and mushrooms. It is baked to perfection and promises to send your senses flying into food heaven. By the way, have you ever heard of peanut flour?.

Veg/Non-veg Samosa:

Who doesn’t like hot samosas on a rainy day? When you taste our keto version, prepared with home-made almond flour, we promise you that you won’t be disappointed and will come back for more.

 

Note: We have the perfect dips to go with them. Also, everything, right from the flours to the food is home made.

Cauliflower Rice

You read that right! Rice made of cauliflower tastes just like the real thing! When you taste it, you will believe it! Our guests from the previous sessions were very pleasantly surprised and happy.

Chicken in Coconut Gravy:

Tenders cubes of boneless chicken simmered with love in a spicy coconut gravy. Need we say more? The ingredients and the recipe are the brain child of this home chef. Me.

Vegetable in Coconut Gravy

The vegetarian equivalent for our vegetarian friends so that they won’t feel like left out. We like to keep things fair and square.

Hazelnut Blueberry Muffins

Have you ever heard of hazelnut flour? We have, and we have perfected the art of baking soft, moist muffins. You won’t believe that they have no sugar.

Panna Cotta Cheesecake with Cranberry Sauce

Panna Cotta is an Italian dessert meaning “Cooked Cream”. We have taken this simple definition and converted into a decadent cheesecake which rests on a cashew nut flour base and topped with the sweetness of cranberries. A house favourite!.
