  • Inspiration
    Hi, I am Sahiba Chanchlani Khurana , an avid preserver of the great repertoire of Sindhi and Multani food legacy. An aspiring farmer, I believe that heirloom food is the very Alchemist for modern day gastronomy. I was born and brought up in Delhi, living in Bangalore for more than 4 years now. Chemical engineer by qualification, who only bothered to study about food and its molecular chemistry. Thereafter I ran a small food business which couldn’t last long when I discovered the compulsive mother inside me! A frustrated mother of a toddler in her troublesome two legs. Family, food and fitness is pretty much all that drives me.

    Don't just taste, devour a whole Sindhi cuisine experience from welcome drink, appetizer to the sweet course. Learn about the links between Sindhi food and the food cooked during Indus valley civilization and how Sindhi cuisine's origin dates back to the Harappan times.

    Tikkiyu Taryal 

    This traditional Sindhi Fried Tikki are deep fried savoury snacks which are made from wheat flour. Layers of different textures with spicy centre filling

     

    Main course

    Sai Bhaji 

    Its Sindhi vegetarian curry, consisting of dal, palak and other vegetables. It forms a staple part of the local cuisine and is considered a rich source of nutrition due to its mix of various greens.


    Bhugal Chawal- Sindhi Brown Rice

     A special Sindhi delicacy where rice is cooked in lots of onion and flavoured with whole garam masala. Onion fried in oil gives a brown colour hence the name. It is served with another Sindhi delicacy Sai Bhaji. 

     

    Waangar Taryal 

    Slices of brinjal deep fried and sprinkled with dry spices, its a combination of unique flavours  and textures. 


    Dag Pakkal Chicken

    Is one typical Sindhi recipe which is almost at a vanishing stage due to the modern day style of cooking . Succulent chicken cooked to perfection in the Signature dag pakkal gravy. 

     

    Sindhi Phulko

    Traditional Sindhi wholewheat flatbread. One phulka tears into three to four thin sheets held

    together by a secret method of rolling and toasting.

     

    Dessert

    Khas Khas Jo Seero

    Poppy seeds halwa, a winter delicacy in every Sindhi home. A must try at a sindhi home
