  • Inspiration
    Food is my passion and I love to re-create my grandmother's traditional recipes and share it with the world outside! Come join me as I cook the traditional biryanis which has been passed down from my Grandmother.
  • What we will be doing?
    I am cooking all of my favorite recipes which was taught to me by grandmother. Most of these recipes are forgotten today or not made due to the complex nature of the cooking. While you should definitely be here for the food, you will also experience stepping into a new culture and tradition, right here in Bangalore.

    Badam Ka Doodh with Chia Seeds

    Almond soaked and ground to paste then blended with milk and mixed with soaked Chia Seeds.

     

    Appetizers

    Chicken Kabaabs

    Chicken cooked with spices and Channa daal and deboned (shredded) then mixed with boiled potatoes,freshly cut mint and coriander leaves and lime juice.They are shapped into cutlets, rolled in bread crumbs dipped in a egg wash and fried.

     

    Main Course

    Kheema Massor Biryani

    Minced meat cooked with whole Masoor with spices , onions , tomatoes and curd .Cooked nicely with some home pounded garam Masala and then layered with rice.

     

    Egg Biryani

    Gravy made with onion and tomatoes.Then rice cooked in it till half done.Boiled eggs immersed in the rice and cooked on dum to get the flavour of the eggs in it.

     

    Chicken Yakhini

    Chicken cooked with whole garam Masala potli and Channa daal. The rice is cooked with the juices of the chicken which is called Yakhini. Then cooked on dum,  the flavours that come out are awesome.


    Dessert

    Nani ki Zafrani Phirni

    Phirni made with coarsely ground rice flavoured with saffron and kewra to give the authentic taste.
